People for Education Surveys

For over a decade, the Annual Report on Ontario's Public Schools produced by People for Education (P4E) has played an important role in shining a light on many of the critical issues facing our schools and evaluating the state of public education in this province.

These reports are based on information provided by surveys completed by school councils and principals with over 1000 schools contributing responses annually.

Copies of the 2008/2009 P4E Tracking Surveys were sent out to every secondary and elementary school earlier in October. This year there are two separate surveys; one for the School Council and one for the Principal. Surveys may be submitted online or a hard copy mailed in.

The deadline for completing and returning surveys is December 12, 2008.

Please encourage your members and representatives on School Councils to make their school communities aware of the P4E survey and the deadline for return, and to assist with providing information needed to help in its completion.
