Faith Days : Early September

District 16 would like to advise those new to the district or new to teaching that there is a process to assist if Faith Days are required before you receive your BWW password. If you fall into either of these categories please see the passages below citing the YRDSB Faith Day procedures. Again, please note that this exception to the policy holds only for the members noted in the policy. All other members have now had ample notice of the process to be followed.  

"....consider an employee's request for a faith day after the third week in September if an employee is new to the Board, returning from leave or if an exceptional circumstance (such as a change in faith) exists and if the request is submitted and received by Human Resource Services no later than 20 working days prior to the date requested for leave with an explanation as to why the timelines have not been met;.."

"....make adjustments as necessary for days determined by the sighting of the moon; ..."
