
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Represent the Teacher/OT Bargaining Unit on Provincial Council and attend T/OT Council, Executive, and Membership meetings;

Present to Provincial Council questions and resolutions passed by the Teacher/OT Bargaining Unit which are directed to Provincial Council;

Present a written report to the Teacher/OT Bargaining Unit Council following each meeting of the Provincial Council;

Act as leader to the Teacher/OT Bargaining Unit's Delegation to AMPA and serve as co-chair with the Executive Officer at all preparations meetings of the delegation;

Expected to attend 5 Provincial Council meetings in a year

Expected to attend 1-2 D16 Executive meetings every month, and a Council meeting once a month

Assume such reasonable duties as may from time to time be delegated by the Teacher/OT Bargaining Unit President.

Process to apply with important dates:
1.Notice of interest should be received by the District 16 Office by Noon on Friday 20, November, 2020.
Note: After the deadline date, all successful candidates will receive three questions. These three questions will be answered in the form of a 2-3 minute speech.
2.You will present your 2-3 minute speech at the next Council Meeting on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
3. The vote will take place at the Council Meeting on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
